    Hi BPS,

I’m having problem to install WP for my add-on domain via Simple Script.

    Error message:

    Permission Denied
Your server responded with “Permission Denied”, which means you probably have some improper permissions set on your server. If you are not familiar with this error (a “403” Error), please contact your server admin or web host about possible resolutions.

How do I solve the problem? Thank you!

hmm the only thing that i can think of that would cause BPS to be interfering with a SimpleScripts installation of WordPress would be that the folder you are trying to install WordPress into is a subfolder of a parent folder that has a BPS .htaccess file in it. htaccess files work in a heirarchal way. If a subfolder does not have its own htaccess file it will inherit the rules in the parent folders htaccess file. What you should do is to make a copy of the BPS default.htaccess master file and edit it so that your RewriteBase and RewriteRule is correct for this new folder (if the new folder is named BLAH then your RewriteBase is /BLAH/ and your RewriteRule is RewriteRule . /BLAH/index.php [L]) and then copy the default.htaccess file to the new folder you are trying to install WordPress into and rename that file to just .htaccess (removing default from in front of the default.htaccess file name). The other thing you can do is to temporarily take BPS out of the equation by backing up your current htaccess files and then putting your main site in Default Mode. If the SimpleScripts installation works and is completed then just Restore your htaccess files. Thanks.

Used the 2nd option and IT WORKS!!! Thank you so much!!!
