Just looked at other sites that run this plugin and the screenshot, it looks as though the plugin has not installed properly. Removed and re-installed with the same issues.

Which version of WP are you using?

I’ve just reported similar problem on a site under development that was working on WP 3.2.1 but stopped working when I installed the WP 3.3 RC2.

I have just tested Bug Library on a live site using WP3.2.1 and it works fine.

    Hi, I confirm this bug,
and you can try this on my draft website

    http://systoy.info/bugs/

I am using the 1.2.2 version.

Well, I managed to get the submission frame using an iframe
in the page. But, there are other bugs, like,
the new submitted bugs appear in dashboard but do not automatically appear in the page…..

And seems there are other weired messages….

    so buggy for WP 3.2.1….

I’m using WP 3.2.1, I’ve tried to change the theme and tried a different webhost provider. Same outcome.

I sent Yannick a de-bugged version last night at least eliminates the problems I was experiencing. I understand he is issuing v1.2.3 version which is working with the newly released WordPress 3.3.

    I recommend you upgrade both.

While Yannick is busy with his long project, as I am now somewhat familiar with the code, I will see if I can trace any other bugs if people report them on this forum.

    Cheers

    Will

If I upgrade both, I will lose some of my old plugins….
v1.2.3 still cannot get the Report New Issue form JQuery form show up
    properly.

On the other side, it’s relatively easy to iframe a bugzilla…..

xianai => I see you have removed bug library from your site. Sorry I was not able to look at it while you had it up.

javedb => Could I get an address of the site where you are seeing a problem with the Report New Problem box?

    Hi,

I have just upgraded to version 3.3 for this site and quickly did a re-install of the bug library.

Here you can view the results under the Tracking option in the navigation. http://aifile.technopeers.co.uk/?page_id=54&bugcatid=1

    Thanks

@javedb Does it work if you temporarily switch to another theme (for example WP’s Twenty-Eleven)?

    Plugin Author Yannick Lefebvre

    (@jackdewey)

Running the page through Firebug and looking at the console, I am seeing the following jQuery error:

    $(“.effect”) is null
    http://aifile.technopeers.co.uk/wp-content/themes/toommorel-lite/js/image-effect.js?ver=3.3
    Line 10

This jQuery error is preventing all jQuery script, including the script attached to the Report New Issue button not to run. You need to correct this issue for Bug Library to work correctly, along with jQuery script from any other plugin that you install.

As nbquidditch indicated, changing to the default theme should show you how this can work. Then you can look at fixing the theme that you installed.

    (@javedb)

@nbquidditch I’ve flipped back to the Twenty Eleven theme v1.3 on this site and the same issues are present. All other plugins work without any hitches. Is there something I can post on the theme provider support forum to see if they can resolve this?

@jackdewey I have a different site under development with a different host provider: http://www.alfariscapital.com/?page_id=151 – the issues seem to the be the same. Here I’ve upped to WP3.3 and using the twenty eleven v1.3 theme.

In terms of the jQuery error, where can I get more info on this or is it theme specific?

    Thanks

The problem with this second site is that you have another plugin, called Download Manager I think, which also uses the colorbox jQuery plugin, but not the same version as Bug Library. Can you try to deactivate that plugin and see if it comes up correctly?

jQuery is a really tricky thing.

    (@javedb)

@jackdewey – on the second site I deactivated the ‘Download Manager’ plug and hey presto, Bug Library worked. Jack your a star.

On the first site, I did the same as ‘Download Manager’ was also installed and active, this did nothing but then switch to the Twenty Eleven theme and got the pop-up dialogue to display, however there were some errors – but some progress nonetheless.

The main issue is the conflict with the ‘Download Manager’ plugin, I will play around with this tomorrow.

    Thanks guys.
