• I upgraded to WP 3.2 (ES) a few days ago, and since then the tabs in my dashboard don´t work (“dashboard options”, “opciones de pantalla”, “Ayuda”)

So I deactivated all my plugins, a reactivated them one by one and found the culprit was BP 1.2.8. I tried (automatic) reinstalling of BP 1.2.8., but no fix.

I read it could be a WP 3.2. installation issue – it hadn´t installed correctly – so I reinstalled, …and still no fix.

Then I read that in effect BP 1.2.8. had compatibility problems with WP 3.2., and that I should await BP upgrade. This morning I upgraded to BP 1.2.9., but still, the tabs don´t work…

    Uh,…help?

  • In case your theme is a customized version of the default BP theme. If it is, like we did, be sure to update your JS files. Global.js in/_inc/global.js was from the previous version, which had some old jQuery in it (not compatible with what WP 3.2 has).

Actually I´m running my main blog on Custom Community 1.7.0.2 theme…

@jimmytorguha If you have upgraded WP to version 3.2, you must upgrade BuddyPress to version 1.2.9 http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/buddypress/

As to custom community theme, you should post at theme’s forums to get the latest if they have upgrade for the latest BP/WP versions.
