  • Having the same issue. At first it was only a couple false positives every now and then, but recently anytime I post a new post/page/anything it is saying the links are broken.

    That’s a good question. I began trying out this plug-in sometime last week and pretty much all of the links on the site are showing up as broken. Some of them truely are and after editing the URL’s, it still comes up as broekn. I’ve even tried updating to 1.6.2.

    I guess Broken Link Checker is just broken?

    With 1.6.2 and WordPress 3.4.1. I recently noticed.

    Database error : Unknown column ‘dismissed’ in ‘where clause’

    appearing and loads and loads of errors in my error.log …deactivating and activating does not help.

    Notably another blog with a pre 3.4 installation doesn’t have this problem.

    @gje

    Are you saying that this database error is what’s causing our issue? Are you suggesting that Broken Link Checker 1.6.2 is not compatible with WordPress 3.4.1?

    Same here. Looks like all my links are false positive for 404. reset doesn’t worko

    This is the notification I received:
    Broken Link Checker has detected 1 new broken link on your site.
    Here’s a list of the new broken links:
    Link text : Documentation
    Link URL : http://codex.wordpress.org/
    Source : Documentation

    Can you please tell me why I receive this notification? As far as I know, I did not place the Link URL (above) on my site.
    Any help?

    @kerrock

    that happened at all my wordpress installations, just ignore that link

    @all
    strange link errors keep showing up that clearly are properly working links
    (503 Service unavailable)
    e.g. after I fix links that were really broken they still keep showing up

    I reseted the plugin database several times but nothing changes

    Hey Developer, I guess it’s time for a new update !

    Same here. Looks like all my links are false positive for 404. reset doesn’t worko

    Same for me and link “Settings>Link checker” give error 404 non found
