Plugin breaks your site!

    Installed, followed all simple directions, enter Integration, Secret key, API hostname. Clicked Save – got the blank page with the WordPress logo and nothing else and no way to get back to my WP backend
    Tried to delete the plugin via FTP and to reinstall several times get the same issue.
    Tried to:

    – resets the Secret key – cannot even get to the site the instance the plugin activated.
    – delete the app completely in DUO account and still can not login the instance the plugin activated. Even without the App created! Still, get the same blank page.

    Wasted over an hour of my day… Deleted!
    Look for some other plugins!

    I think I just ran into the same issue.

    I fixed it by:

    • Renaming the plugin folder to disable it e.g. duo_wordpress.bak
    • Checking the options saved by the plugin ( visit /wp-admin/options.php and search for duo) and sure enough, I had accidentally copied the key into the host field.
    • Changing that option to the correct value fixed the site and allowed me to change the name back and reactivate the plugin.
