This plugin stopped functioning when I updated to CF7 5.2, I rolled back to 5.1.9 and everything works fine again.

You’re probably already aware, but if there’s anything I can provide from my experience to help you update to plugin properly I’ll be happy to provide it.

Thank you for writing such a useful plugin! I would happily donate toward this project 🙂

yes, I picked up a few comments from users facing similar issues.

wonderful. If you want to work on this plugin, the easiest is start a PR on the github repo and see what you want to work on.

Beyond the bugs, there is plenty of room for improvement to make the plugin more user friendly in the admin dashboard, so if you have any good ideas, I am all ears.

🙂 a couple of beers is always welcome! However, actually coding contribution is even better!

I have a quick test on my server and found the plugin to be working fine with CF7 5.2. Can you tell me more specifically what troubles you’re facing?

if you’re using the Smart Grid-layout extension plugin then you ‘ll need to upgrade to the latest released v3.3.3 which fixes bugs that arose as a consequence of the changes in cf7 v5.2. Maybe the issues you are facing in the Post My CF7 form is a result of those of bugs.

    Hello Kyle,

I realised that there was a small bug associated with mapping of files which I fixed in v4.1.4

let me know if there is any other issues you were facing, and if so which other cf7 extensions are you using.

    Hello Again =)

I’m not using any CF7 extensions. The issue I had after updating was that the author of the post would default to the admin even though the user was properly logged in and had contribution permissions.

This issue went away when I rolled back CF7

I hope that helps! I wish I could contribute to the code myself, I am a total noob. Perhaps it’s time to make learning a priority.

aha! Yes, I see why this could happen. Let me check on this and get back to you.

hehe, I am still learning myself. The best way to dive into the code, ideally with a debugger so as to step through the code and see what is happening.

Do you do any javascript coding?
