    Hi,

    I have come across an unusual problem caused by the plugin – I have turned off all custom coding and plugins and by process of elimination I know the reviews plugin makes this happen.

    On a mobile if you add a item to your basket from the shop (https://staging.gardenlifelogcabins.co.uk/shop/) click through the basket page and view the checkout page clicking on the “I have read and agree to the website terms and conditions” should open a scrollable box containing the T&Cs just above the link.

    This works on desktop, but with the reviews plugin active it breaks the functionality on mobile – the box appears but it’s too small to use and the T&Cs content is missing (and no amount of additional CSS is fixing it).

    This only happens on mobile and only when the reviews plugin is active. Please can you advise how this can be fixed?

    I’d like to use the reviews plugin, but if it means vital T&Cs are missing from the checkout page I can’t.

    I tested https://staging.gardenlifelogcabins.co.uk/checkout/ from a mobile device but could not reproduce the issue you described. Can you please let me know if it is still relevant?

    Hi,

    If you have a look at this video https://staging.gardenlifelogcabins.co.uk/downloads/missing-terms.mp4 you can see the problem.

    This was taken in a Chrome Incognito window set to iPhone X, but the same thing happens on all the Android phones that I have tested on.

    You need to have something in your basket in order to see the problem, and as mentioned, if I turn off the reviews plugin the problem doesn’t happen (i.e. the terms & conditions appear again).

    Any ideas?

    Hi again,

    This site is now live and the problem page moved to https://www.gardenlifelogcabins.co.uk/checkout/

    I’ve had to turn off your plugin however as it was breaking part of the checkout process (which I couldn’t have on the live site).

    If you replicate the problem shown in the video and find a fix please let me know.

    1. I tried to view the video but the link you provided does not work (404 error).

    2. If you deactivated the plugin, I will not be able to observe the issue. Can you please reproduce the issue on your staging site or temporary enable the plugin on the live site?

    Hi,

    The video moved here https://www.gardenlifelogcabins.co.uk/downloads/missing-terms.mp4 after launch.

    Unfortunately there is no staging site, but I think I’ve created a workaround to solve the problem. I’ve removed the WooCommerce Terms of Sale link and manually added a link to the T&Cs in the checkout privacy text (that state a purchase from the site constitutes acceptance of the terms).

    It’s not ideal but it means I can keep the plugin active.

    Sorry for the delay with my reply. I’ve noticed that you removed the terms and conditions checkbox from the checkout page. If you still need any assistance with our plugin, please let me know. We will be happy to help, if there are any CSS conflicts.
