# Plugin breaking soon?

 * Hello! I use this plugin on the website for a meetup that I help run. We really
   like it a lot, thanks! However, I’ve been getting emails from Meetup.com that
   [they’re discontinuing their old API](https://help.meetup.com/hc/en-us/articles/360028901812more/).
   Will that break this plugin? Are there any plans to update this plugin, or is
   there a similar alternative? I haven’t been able to find anything else that just
   displays upcoming meetups in the sidebar.

 * I concur with flammable, I really like how your plugin displays upcoming meetup
   events within the page! Any plans on switching to api version 3 or oauth?
