Hi. I installed your plug-in because it works properly with Events Manager (which is cool, that makes me so happy :). However, it’s making it so the Pages editor is messed up. It shows the html editor, not visual one. It looks like nothing is in the content box, but you can highlight the content and see the html. Any idea what’s going on?
Breadcrumb NavXT should not affect any of the editing screens in WordPress. There is only one thing that I can think of that could cause this to happen (a silent PHP warning or error due to WP_DEBUG not being enabled), and it will only show up in pre WordPress 3.3 installs (related to the new help tab system introduced in WP 3.3). I only officially test for and support WordPress 3.3, minimal effort is made to maintain support of older WordPress releases (I do zero testing against old versions of WordPress).
Thanks for taking the time to reply. I’m using a subdirectory of my own site for development right now. I created a child theme using Twenty Ten, so I’m worried it’ll break with a WP update. In a couple weeks, I’m copying over to it’s own host, so I plan on trying an update to 3.3(+) then. Maybe that will take care of it… Thanks again.
If you created your child theme correctly, upgrading to WordPress 3.3 should be painless, as it still includeds Twenty Ten (an updated version), and the point of child themes was to make upgrades easier (through the separation of custom code and distributed code).
