Well, the title says it all really: I’ve disabled the ‘Blog Breadcrumb’ on the settings page but for some reason it magically inserts itself on single custom post type pages (also tried the svn trunk version for good measures).

    So instead of:
    Home>Foobars>Foobar
    I get:
    Home>Blog>Foobars>Foobar

I didn’t really dive into it any further. I did see there was a similar bug resolved in 3.9 for archives, maybe it has something to do with that?

Hope to get this resolved since this plugin is by far the best breadcrumb plugin I tried.

    Oh nevermind… not a bug… sorry.
…found the settings tab for cpt with the Root Page select.

Bit strange to have it default to the blog page though.

If the CPT is non-hierarchical it will default to the “page for posts” page for the root page, if the CPT is hierarchical it will default to the “page on front” for the root page. That seems to be the behaviour you saw here, just need to specify what you wanted for the root page.

I suppose in the future the default could be left blank/set to the “page on front” if it reduces confusion.
