[Plugin: BP User Profile Map] Map is showing wrong location data in friends tab

It’s a known issue – originally the plugin was simply for user profiles, with the addition of member loops / group loops things were greatly extended however the original functions were not designed to cope with a loop being called into a screen already rendering a map as in a user account screen and the friends sub screen. There isn’t an immediate solution sadly, there is an update due soon for additional functionality with map place holder for directions but sorting out this particular issue is going to probably prove awkward to deal with without a significant code re-write. All I can say is it’s on my radar / to do list.

Of course they may be a simple solution I’ve overlooked – we can but hope 🙂 but either way a solution won’t be immediate due to pressure of work and lack of time.

P.S I tend to see posts on the BP support site where the plugin has a group more than here so responses would be faster.

I’ve posted details of a fix on bp.org that will need to be applied manually for the moment until I am ready to upload the other changes.
