Great idea, Kristen!
I’ll take a look and see what’s involved with uploading avatars.
can some one tell me how to manually change the group avatars, since this plugin doesn’t give the option to add/ change the group avatar. thanks
I just added the plug-in and created my first group, but don’t see a place for the avatar… I read in the change-log that you added that as a feature, but I don’t see it…
Also, for the hierarchy, do you need to create a general group that would serve as the top group for that theme?
For example, I have several social media groups. Would I then create “Social Media” as the top group and then move facebook, twitter, etc. over to show as subgroups?
Hi Rachel –
The only support this plugin has for avatars is displaying them in the organizer. For the time being, you will still need to use the group’s Admin screens to create / edit avatars.
For hierarchy – yes, you will need to create a parent group if you want other groups to be under it. But there doesn’t have to be a single top-level group; you can have as many as you want.
I hope that has cleared things up. Please let me know if you have any more questions!

I am liking the plug-in. Before installing it I was having a problem creating groups. There seemed to be a limit built in somewhere. After installing it, I was able to create the ones that I wanted. It was a pain to go in and load the avatars later, but it’s done. I’ve decided not to create parent groups at this time.
Thanks!
