Just installed BP Checkins, and am very impressed.
However, I have run into problems in creating places – when created in front-end I don’t receive a success message or an error message. It simply yields nothing. In backend, I can create a new place, but it is not listed under community places in frontend.
When I try filtering I get
    http://www.fishermen.se/checkins/?placeplace

Sorry about the site being in Swedish and all, but I have to have creation locked down to members on the site. anyways, on the page, there should be ONE result, I get none.

    Any ideas?

    Hello @neocreo,

I just tested it and everything works fine..
    check this screencapture.

Sometimes it can be a javascript error, you may have a plugin that loads javascript and there’s a conflict, you should inspect the inspector of your browser.

    For me everything is ok.

    Thanks @imath
I suspected as much, and indeed, there seem to be a conflict in there. I have tested on both Ubuntu and OSX, but of course, silly me, I did not test the error in all browsers. Firefox for normal users seem to work just fine, so the error only affects webkit browsers. Clearly a clash of javascript that should not even be loaded on that page.

Thanks for taking the time and spotting my noobie mistake!
