    There is debug output on the WordPress login page from PowerPress. First, why is powerpress even trying to do anything on the login page??

    Second this can easily be fixed by changing powerpress.php line 138 to the code below.

    else if( is_object( $post ) && current_filter() == 'the_content' && $g_powerpress_excerpt_post_id == $post->ID )

    Not the check for an object before we try and run anything.

    Thanks for the heads up on the debug message, we will have this fixed in the next release.

    WordPress on every page loads all of the plugins, no matter what part of the blog you are in. For example, this is in case a plugin has to add functionality to the sign-in page.

    It would be great if plugins could define what filters/actions they need upon activation, then WordPress would use logic to determine if the plugin should be loaded or not based on if those filters/actions are needed for the page to be loaded, but that’s not how it works currently. Such logic may not really be all that necessary performance wise on well managed servers with PHP caching setup, though logically it would be more efficient.
