• Running a clean 3.3 installation with Blubrry PowerPress Podcasting plugin 2.0.4 installed. Anyone logged in as a Contributor can’t:

See the top nav bar when logged in
See the buttons in Visual Mode when adding a new post
    See the Dashboard Widgets
    Log out

Frustrating. Admin is fine, haven’t tested other roles.

  • This is the first we have heard about this. There are a huge number of installations out there. What other plugins are you using. I personally have users of all security levels and non have reported issues.

Feel free to send screen shots to cio@rawvoice.com please also submit the diagnostic info you will find a link to it in the tools section.

Admin created a clean installation of 3.3, Enabled Akismet, then Blubrry. I was testing with Contributor Role as this is a large group blog (and I’m a Contributor). Before Blubrry, Contributor Role worked fine. After Blubrry was installed/enabled and setup, Contributor Role had a lot of issues (detailed above). Disabling Blubrry solved the issues.

Admin chose to go with a different podcast plugin 🙁

I will see if I can recreate on my dev server tonight and grab screen shots.

Will pass to Developer.. But again first we have heard of any issues with thousands using the plugin. Please send screen shots of what you are seeing as i am unable to duplicate anything you are talking about.
