[Plugin: Blogger Importer] Blogger importer fails when there are more comments

The Blogger Importer fails when there are more number of posts and comments and hence is useful only for small blogger blogs.It stops half way throuh and shows the “Set Authors” Button.If you “clear Account Information” and Authorize again, then it will show wrong number of comments.I have seen other threads here like this but all of them are unanswered 🙁

The online Google Blog Convertors cant handle big file sizes. Is there any fix to make the Blogger Importer Work(of WordPress) properly?
