This plugin blocked my IP three times after I forgot my wordpress admin’s password yet there is a section where it actually records my ip and even says “My IP”!

I had to delete it from cpanel and remove it completely. When I installed it again, after activation it tells me that “This IP is Banned” – my IP and cannot even access a single thing in my own site!

I think this tool is poorly designed…stay away from this tool or you will regret it!

  • How do you know that the error wasn’t yours? Why didn’t you try to contact the plugin’s author about this by posting a topic in the plugin’s dedicated sub-forum?

Next time read the developers notes that tell you to whitelist your own IP on the plugin. Instead of acting like a donkey and putting blame on the plugin, a simple email to the developer would have told you how to correct the problem after you blacklisted yourself. Same thing happened to me and Adeel had me the info within an hour. I was good to go 5 mins after receiving instructions.
Sometimes it isn’t the plugin that is a tool.

Thank you for leaving feedback on “1 star” rating.
I receive emails around once or twice a week due to same issue and I provide individual assistance to such cases.

If by any means your IP is blocked (by not putting in white list), you can only remove it from Database Directly.
I am not giving and WILL NOT give option to overcome this issue as this will risk your site and attackers can unblock their IP too.
