[Plugin: Better WP Security] Registration error messages don't appear after activation

The plugin appears to be working correctly, but we noticed that the pink error messages that appear if a user makes a mistake during registration don’t appear anymore. It’s just an empty pink box. When I de-activate the plugin, the messages appear as normal. Any idea why this might be happening?
