I have a WP 3.4.2 install online and a local version which might not be as uptodate (3.4.1 I think).
I periodically import locally my online DB so i can work things locally.
My local site was working fine (on easyphhp) But I just did import my remote DB, and after that, I only can get 403 errors ont he site, directory, or any post/page.
I very much suspect Better WP security as I had tuned it online recently. Could possibly some settings have caused some permission issues?
I have tried revert to older DB, I have tried desactivate the plugin online and reimport: nothing solves the problem.
Just before though my local site was working fine.
My httpd.conf looks ok
Alias "/www.toto.com" "D:/Documents/Mes Documents/Websites/www.toto.com" <Directory "D:/Documents/Mes Documents/Websites/www.toto.com"> Options FollowSymLinks Indexes AllowOverride All Order deny,allow Allow from 127.0.0.1 deny from all </Directory>
(Beside, I have other sites onon that localhost that work fine)
My BWP security setup was based on no .htaccess modifications, so I had done it manually online but only ahve a basic WP version locally.
My BWP settigns are quite conservative. I had not used the BWP option to prevent long URl strings. I had disabled directory browsing….
Yet it seems importing this database screwed up something at some poitn…
