[Plugin: Better Internal Link Search] Should "/index.php?page_id=248"

    Hi,

First I want to say thanks for this plugin, it is very useful.

I just want to make a suggestion. The plugin should give an option to create an ID based link, that never breaks if you edit the page slug. Thats easily done by using /index.php?page_id=*Page ID*

That way I can edit my website many times and never have an 404 link that I forgot to edit the page slug.

    Thanks.

Hi berchielli, thanks for the input and I’ll keep this in mind next time I get a chance to work on the plugin. I believe WordPress calls that format a shortlink and I imagine it would probably work best as a search modifier. If you’re comfortable writing PHP, you should be able to hook into the search feature and implement it yourself.
