plugin batch upgrade options

    Don’t you think it would be a good idea to allow batch plugin upgrading from the Plugins section in addition to/instead of forcing you to go to the Tools section? To my mind, it could be another selection in the “Bulk Actions” menu (that would only show up on the “Upgrade Available” page of Plugins)

    Yes, it will be added, but was not finished early enough in 2.9 to be ported to an additional screen. The bulk plugin update was created as support for the compatibility check on Tools > Upgrade so that you could see if plugins would be compatible before upgrading WordPress, and upgrade any plugins that had compatibility updates all at once. We’ll have this functionality on the plugins screen in a future version.
