Not sure if this was intentional or not, but adding user-scalable=no to the front-end-head.php page stopped my mobile device from being able to zoom in and out.

I’m hoping you can remove this so any future updates won’t overwrite my change to remove it so the website would work on mobile devices?

    Thanks, and nice plugin BTW.

Thanks for letting me know. I included that because it was in some of Google’s official examples, but I’ll do some research and see if I can take it out without hurting anything.

Are you trying to use the browser’s zoom, or the zoom feature that the map provides?

This affected my entire website, even on the pages not using your plugin. When any page was loaded on an iPhone(4), the iPhone wouldn’t allow pinch-zoom at all. I tracked it down to the user-scalable=no line in your plugin, and after removing it everything seemed to work.

Ah, ok. That tag is necessary for pages with the map so that the map’s zoom functionality works, but it doesn’t need to be included on the other pages. Unfortunately with WordPress’ architecture, it’s not a trivial fix because the tags needs be output before we know if the shortcode has been called, but there are a few workarounds.

I’ll work on getting a fix for this into the next release so that that tag is only output on the page that has the map.

I just released 1.1.3, which has this fixed. The files will only be loaded on the page that calls the shortcode.
