    Hi

BackUpWordPress tries to email you a copy of your backup, however even with fairly small sites, the backups are often too big to send. Instead, you will get an email notifying you that the email was unable to send – instead it gives you a download link so that you can get the backup.

The emails work best when only the database is being backed up as the files are much smaller.

I am guessing this is the problem – although if it is not – please get back to us with more information.

    Thanks

    Hi,
Thank you for your response. Sorry for taking so long to get back to you.

First, I don’t get any emails notifying me that the email was unable to send. However, I do get an email saying the backup was completed and that the backup is attached to the email. But there are no attachments on the emails.

It does give me a link, though, like you said. That takes me to a page that says “Manage Backups.” There it gives me a path to where the backups are supposedly stored. However, when I go to that page nothing is there.

Can you please tell me where I can actually see my backups so I can make sure the plugin is working?

    Thank you.
    Kara
