I have been using Backupwordpress 1.6.8 for two months & everything was backing up fine. I usually had a schedule Site + DB backup but also performed manual backup when required.

Until I upgraded to 1.6.9, the usual full Site + DB backup no longer contains the .sql file.

So i uninstalled & reinstalled the old version 1.6.8 but no change.

My full backup of Site + DB no longer contains the .sql file.

    Please help

If you switch to database only, does that work?

Could you try version 2.0, http://wordpress.org/support/topic/backupwordpress-v2-beta-testers-wanted

Well the issue got resolved after I switched from DB only & site+DB backup back and forth multiple times

I just installed this plugin (thought I’d try it for a second time) and ran a backup for database and files, and there was no sql file in the zip folder. So I ran it again for database only and it produced a nice sql file with db name and everything.

So I switched back to database and files, and found that a long list of about 15 directories that I had typed in to be excluded were removed from the excludes area. That kind of sucked. (The area was grayed out when I switched to database only)

I don’t think I am going to take the time to type those in again right now, and you should have a warning that that is going to happen.

Anyway, in spite of that, thank you for taking the time to develop this plugin.

Could you try the newly released 2.0.1 and see if that resolves the issues.
