When using 1.3.2 of Backup Scheduler, after doing a restore on a local XAMPP server, the page takes about 2 minutes to load and I can’t logon. I’ve tried doing new backups and restoring multiple times but no success. I tried using the “Lost Password” link but WordPress says that the user doesn’t exist. Even trying to reset the password via PhpMyAdmin, doesn’t work.

The backup is made of 10 parts and the SQL files are made up of 2.

Any idea why this is happening? Is this some new bug?

Oh, and the homepage of the site doesn’t consists of any blogs. I tried re-saving the permalinks without making changes but this didn’t help either.

Scratch the last paragraph of the post.

The homepage doesn’t show any post is true. Instead it says, “Sorry but no results were found” as though I did a search or typed in an incorrect URL.

Since I can’t logon, I never “updated” the permalinks.

Lastly, I just did a manual backup based on the codex page but it’s still exhibiting the same issues. So, I think it has to do with the site or database configuration. This is so frustrating because everything was working fine up until last week.

I just pulled all of the plugins out of the plugins folder to see what would happen. The site is now working.

I guess I’ll have to re-enable the plugins one at a time to find the culprit.
