    Version 2.0.3 of the plugin.

Backups seem to be writing to S3 just fine, but they are also being retained in the wp-content/uploads/awb directory.

Is this by design, or are they just not being deleted upon transfer to S3, or what?

Also, the ZIP files in my S3 bucket seem to be on the order of magnitude of >1KB, while the files in wp-content/uploads/awb are a more-expected size of ~2GB.

Actually, I take part of that back: all that's getting uploaded to S3 is a ZIP file with an empty SQL dump and a "manifest.txt" file.

    Any idea what's going on?

    Hi Chip,

    Support is provided here: http://www.webdesigncompany.net/automatic-wordpress-backup/support/

For a quick answer, it sounds like it runs out of memory. There is likely an error message in the log files. Our next version actually does file-by-file uploading so this will fix your problems.

A very BETA version is at http://downloads.wordpress.org/plugin/automatic-wordpress-backup.zip but don't use on a site you wouldn't mind just disappearing. It's really for just testing purpose.

If you want to create a duplicate of your website on a junk domain and give it a shot, you might be able to figure out if it'll work with your host.
