[Resolved] [Plugin: Auto ThickBox Plus] Trigger boxes from menu

  • Hi, can I use your plugin to trigger overlay boxes from the menu?

I want my menu items to open as overlays over my homepage, without reloading the entire page.

If possible, the content of each overlay can be a page or post, but that’s not necessary, as far as I can choose what text to show on each overlay. I just need to display a few paragraphs for each menu item.

One problem is that if one overlay or thickbox is already showing, you should be able to open another one, making the first one disappear, without having to manually close the initial one, first.

This way my site will work as an smooth ajaxed page.

    Thanks!

    Dave.

    Hi Dave,

You can overlay a page by adding ‘thickbox’ class to links as follows.

    <a href="..." class="thickbox">...</a>

See Usage – Inline/iFramed/AJAX Content for more information.

If you talking about clicking a link in ThickBox window, ThickBox works as you said when shown as iFramed content.
