I managed to do this in a combination with another plugin that moves all posts after some time to specific category and then your plugin “prunes” them from there… anyhow, I would love to see it have an option to select all categories 🙂

I to am trying to set an auto-delete of posts after a certain number of days. What was the plugin you used to auto-move to a category?

set it to site-wide, to move all posts after X time to selected category… (u can also set to add category)
then use auto prune to delete them totally from WP, but u have to check the option to remove them not to draft as default is set… only then it will remove images of posts too…
works perfect…
