[Plugin: Auto Post Thumbnail] Feature Request: turn off for pages or specific post types, multisite

  • It would be really nice if this plugin had an option to turn off for pages, or specific custom post types used on a site. I’ve got a theme that displays the featured image at the top of pages. I don’t want the image to appear there on the pages. So my only option is to turn this plugin off. But I’d like to have it on for posts.

Also, Multisite support would be really nice. It works fine on multisite, except that it doesn’t add the “Gen. Post Thumbnails” option under Tools on individual sites. It would be nice to have that feature and have it only operate for the current site/blog (not network wide) when run.

    Tevya,

I also would appreciate more flexibility, including the enhanced multisite function. My pages are designed to have the images, and I would prefer that to remain.

I hope the developer can code for both needs as an options and shortcode?
