• If you want to get attention your plugin, don’t fill in contact forms of random WordPress sites to send your promotional message. That’s SPAM and unwanted and even against the law, because there’s no relationship between us and I haven’t asked for this promotion of both your free and premium plugin.

I haven’t used your plugin and because of this action, I never will.

Update (20251110): They apparently haven’t learned anything and still have team members who are sending spam via other websites, so they have lost the last star as well. Also for making promises they clearly can’t keep.

    Hi Jos Klever,

I truly appreciate your honest feedback, and I want to apologize for contacting you through your site’s form. You are absolutely right — sending unsolicited promotional messages was inappropriate. It was never my intention to spam or disturb you, and I completely understand how this left a negative impression.

I’m genuinely sorry for any frustration or inconvenience this caused. I understand that receiving messages like this can feel intrusive, and I deeply regret that my approach came across that way. Your feedback has made me realize how important it is to be more mindful and respectful of people’s time and inboxes.

Please know that I’ve taken your feedback seriously and will make sure this does not happen again. My goal with Schema Package is simply to help WordPress users who find value in structured data, not to bother anyone who hasn’t asked for information.

I hope that if Schema Package were judged on its features and functionality rather than this mistake, it might be seen in a more positive light. I’ve worked hard to make it lightweight, flexible, and genuinely useful for WordPress users who want clean, reliable schema markup.

Thank you again for taking the time to point this out.

“…will make sure this does not happen again”, “deeply regret”, “mistake”- no? really? Don´t lie to us. You sent me spam, too, yesterday. Stop this. This is a disease that seems to grow – steal contact data here in this portal and use it illegally for promoting oneself. If your plugin is good, then this cheap way is unnecessary and damages your reputation. I won´t use this plugin, too, because of this behavior.

    Hi @wppraesenz

We’re truly sorry for reaching out to you through your contact form. We had completely stopped this practice after our previous mistake pointed out by @josklever , but one of our team members accidentally did it again after seeing your post about schema markup. All of this happened because we’re still new on wp.org and learning how things work here. Kindly forgive us 2nd time.

We just wanted to express our sincere apologies and clarify that we’re not trying to promote anything. We deeply regret this repeated mistake and assure you it will never happen again. If it ever does, please feel free to report us to the WordPress team.

We’re really, really sorry for the inconvenience.

@amanstacker So it appears that your guarantees aren’t worth anything and you don’t seem to have any control over your team. That has nothing to do with being new to wp.org, because this is unacceptable behavior in general. It sounds like you have never heard of the concept of spamming.

@wppraesenz I appreciate your support by commenting on my review, but it might be a better idea to write your own review, because it has more impact. I’m going to remove another star…
