Plugin author changed code but did NOT change plugin version number ??

    I have this Lightbox Plus Colorbox plugin (v2.7.2) installed on a site that also has Wordfence, a security plugin. Today, Wordfence detected differences in a few files between the version on my site, and the official files in the wp.org plugin repo.

    Looking at the changes, they seem legit.. indicating that my site was not hacked. It seems like the plugin author just updated files in the plugin, in the wp repo — but FAILED TO UPDATE THE VERSION NUMBER.

    So i now have the “old” version of v2.7.2 of this plugin, which is different than the “new” version of v2.7.2 (in wp.org).

    That’s just crazy bad. Anyone else see this? Or if i’m wrong about this, can anyone explain?
