• When I install this plugin, it takes all the posts off my main page. The home page is blank. You can still get to all the posts via the categories, but the posts that are supposed to be showing on the home page disappear.

Am I doing something wrong? I thought unless you specified order of posts inside categories that everything stayed as it was.

Really would like to be able to use this plugin.

    Thank you! 🙂

  • pls check if the same happens if you change to the default template, if the posts don’t disappear on the default theme then it has something to do with the theme’s home page code

I changed to the default template, then activated the plugin and the exact same thing happened. Deactivated the plugin and everything is fine and back to normal.

I’m wondering if it is conflicting with another plugin. Advanced Category Excluder? Extended Category Widget?

you can find out easily by disabling either of those, while ASPO is enabled.

    Yes, that’s true. I’ll give it a whirl. 🙂

I am having the same problem. Did you ever find out the cause of this?

I am having some problems my self.
The plugin does not seem to affect any additional querys, please prove me wrong on this.
It also doesn’t show any post on the front page. I am using a hand-made custom theme. Any ideas what the ‘front-page problem’ might be?

This was happening for me too, but I made my home.php an actual template, created a page to use the template, and changed my Settings > Reading to use the home page for my front page. Now all is well.

This happened to me too and I about went nuts trying to understand why? Or how to fix? As soon as I disabled this plugin, all was well. Too bad though…I loved the ability to order my posts in certain categories. Total bummer that something this good has this one big problem. Has anyone had any luck contacting the author to let him know this bug needs to be fixed? If anyone discovers a workaround let us know.

sarahd how does one make their home.php a template? Wave a magic wand over it and say ‘Thou art now a template’? lol…

    Anyone who can help?
