    SimpleSMPR makes it easy to create a social media press release. You can tag your text using buttons on the edit post page, and it includes downloadable templates. You can even create your own templates and save them into your WP database. (This feature is useful beyond the press release functionality.)

    The plugin will also insert machine-readable code into the header of your blog (invisible to people), making your releases discoverable across the web.

    There is a push-button upload to PRX Builder (http://www.prxbuilder.com), a free service that enables distribution through PR Newswire (PR Newswire distribution fees apply.).
