  • Bot-Allow-Content is a small plugin that lets a pre-defined list of bots to read and index the full post’s content through your feeds (Atom, RSS2, RDF), even if your serve only summaries.

Supports Atom 1.0 (in the case you have hacked wp-atom.php).

It has no effect on the RSS 0.92 feed as it serves only summaries.

Just copy the bot-allow-content.php to your /wp-content/plugins/ directory and activate.

    Configuration (within bot-allow-content.php):
1 – Fill the bot names (part of the USER_AGENT string) that you want to allow to index the full content.

2 – Set if your Atom feed is compliant to the Atom 1.0 specification. (this is needed because there are different properties for the content element).

This plugin is compatible with WordPress 2.

    Plugin Home and Download:

For use with WP version older than 2, you have to use 0.2 version of the plugin. Keep in mind that this requires some minor modifications to core wp files.
