  • Hi Paul,

Events Manager doesn’t have a shortcode called Display event – there’s also a type in your code (it’s missing the closing ] character.

What is it you’re trying to display?

That is very strange seeing that the [Display event] shortcode displays a registration form on our live instance.

I’ve read your documentation and see that there is no shortcode like the one I am describing. The Live server is running version 5.5.3.1 of the plugin and version 2.5 of WordPress. Where our Dev server is up to date for the plugin and WordPress.

I am trying to display the same registration form on the Dev server as I am on the Live server.

One more thing is that if there is the pro version on the Live server, could we use the pro version on the Dev server as well?

EMpro is an official premium addon to EM(free) which allows you to use payment gateways – http://wp-events-plugin.com/features/

however could it be that you customized EM or use custom codes?

It doesn’t seem like anything was changed in the plugin code. How could I check if we have the pro version? Would it show up as an extra plugin along with EM?

The Pro add-on is a separate plugin that needs to be installed and activated at the same time as the free version. The developer version allows for up to five sites to use a single license key, the single site version only one (though it can be transferred).
