# Plugin and Theme installing

 * Hello. I am trying to download themes and plugins and it gives me an error that
   it “cant create the directory: /media/share/wp_content/upgrade/exclude-pages.
   tmp”
    the WP_CONTENT, upgrade, and theme folders are there, so im not sure why
   it cant install the file. BTW:im new to wordpress, so i dont know much

 * Try changing the permissions on the wp-content directory to 766. If you still
   have problems, try 767, 775 or 777. Once your uploads are working, change the
   permissions on wp-content back to 755 again and check that everything still works
   OK.
