 * Yesterday I tried the search and I couldn’t get any result. Is it because I selected
   the Italian locale?

 * Hi,
 * Amazon have updated the AWS API version again! This has stopped the plugin working
   on the Amazon.it domain.
 * I am working on a major rework that has fixed this bug, but am still testing
   it. I’m in the process of adding ‘Tracking ID Channels’.
 * So this fault will be fixed from version 2.0.4 and above.
 * In the meantime you could download the development version of the plugin which
   has fixed this fault from: [http://downloads.wordpress.org/plugin/amazon-link.zip](http://downloads.wordpress.org/plugin/amazon-link.zip).
 * Hope that helps!

 * Thank you, I will try it.

 * Version 2.0.4 now in the WordPress repository should fix this issue.

 * Thank you for the new version. Now AWS for the Italian version works. However,
   if I add a carousel, it brings me to Amazon.jp.
    I also can’t figure out how
   to use multiple tracking IDs I added my IDs to the default channel and selected
   when adding the link. However when I click on the link and then on the Italian
   flag I am brought to a page using the generic affiliate ID. One more thing. How
   can I prevent links form showing flags and bring the reader directly to the his
   country Amazon website?

 * Hi,
 * The default channel should have picked up the affiliate ID’s you had entered
   in the previous version of the plugin, hope that is not a bug.
 * The plugin should use the affiliate IDs associated with the channel that you
   have selected. Lets say you create three channels:
 * default, banners and products – and fill them with appropriate affiliate IDs,
   lets say
 * Default:
    us = mydefaultid-20, uk = mydefaultiduk-21, it = mydefaultidit-21,
   etc. Banners: it = mybannersidit-21 Products: uk= myproductsit-21, it=myproductsuk-
   21
 * If you then create a link with [amazon channel=products…] then when displayed
   for UK and Italian visitors it will have the ‘myproducts…’ affiliate ids. For
   other visitors it will fall back to the default ids (as we have not filled those
   ones in).
 * The plugin will always use the ‘default’ channel if you do not specify a channel,
   so it is not necessary to add channel=default to the shortcode.
 * To stop the plugin displaying the flags simply disable the ‘multinational link’
   option in the plugin settings page.
 * Hope that makes sense!

 * Not sure why the carousel is bringing up the jp version, however it does look
   like the Amazon widget support is not yet available in China, Italy, Canada and
   Spain.
 * Just a matter of waiting for Amazon to add Italy support I’m afraid.

 * Thank you, I just didn’t understand how channels worked.
    What are channel filters?

 * Hi,
 * I have not implemented the filters yet.
 * It is my intention to be able to apply the Channel for posts in a particular
   category or with a particular tag.
 * If you have a particular preference let me know and I’ll build it in.
 * Paul
