There is not any form shortcode. You can add the form in a theme file: http://www.eventualo.net/blog/2010/12/how-to-include-the-form-in-the-template/
Here there is a suggestion to hide the name field:
http://www.eventualo.net/forum/topic/391
your solution doesnt work as you might think. when you change input to hidden and set value it works but only one time. after succesfull subscription when you insert next email address it says name field empty.
so its only half solution.
You are right. The hack is old because from v.2.4.9 the fields are emptied after a successful submit.
I’ve just updated it with a new one: http://www.eventualo.net/forum/topic/391#post-2313
I hope it helps.
Hi,
thanks for solution, i found other btw, in functions i set same val to “-” as default.
But as you are saying all these solutions are kind of dirty. Consider please making a better way via WP admin.
Thanks anyway.
Sure, it’s dirty hack… The form part of the plugin is maybe the oldest one (table layout, no jquery…) and I’d like to rewrite/restyle it in future releases.
