The form sends data via ajax, so you need to include the plugin javascript too. In your popup, you have to load WP of course, then double check that in your header there is the wp_head() function (that includes the necessary javascript).

    Thanks Eventualo!
So do I still have to include the HTML code, or can I use the ALO shortcode, as long as I call the wp_head() function?

Well, shortcode didn’t work, so I copied/pasted again, making sure to call wp_head. The form shows, I fill it out, but nothing gets submitted.

So instead, I just link to the newsletter sign-up page from the pop-up. It’s an extra step that many ppl won’t complete, but oh well…

    Thanks!
