[Plugin: All in One SEO Pack] Auto update bricked my wp3.3

Having upgraded to 3.3, I then ran the update for All in One SEO and it just hung at the update screen for 3 hours. I clicked on dashboard and the site was left in maintenance mode. I couldn’t access anything on the dashboard. Had to restore from backup.
