[resolved] Shortcodes (3 posts)

I was very excited to see that shortcodes had arrived since I last looked so I could bring Ai1ec to life but I didn't manage to get there.

I want to show individual calendars based on category on different pages so I don't want the 'default' calendar any more but couldn't see how to disable it.

The shortcode asks for cat_id but I have no idea what this is. I can only see category name and slug. If I hover over an event category, wordpress truncates the tooltip so the querystring is not visible.

I took a punt on '2' but the calendar showed events from multiple categories.

Also, for some reason, I don't get a calendar control on the Start or End Date in 'Add New Event' any more.

    cat_id stands for Category ID

Go to the event category and edit it. The category ID will be displayed in the link.
