  • Great plugin. Just what I was looking for. Especially support for shortcodes.

I’ve got a question about styling. How can I use the shortcode but have it styled similar to what is displayed on the sidebar? I am looking to add just the list of upcoming events in a small column that is part of the content on the home page, but don’t need all the buttons, etc. I just need it to show the date and title of events.

Any idea how to go about this?

This isn’t easy to do at the moment.
You will have to edit the plugin.

    Hi yani,

I try to show previous events in agenda view in a page called “Past Events”. It should look like this.

I try to use this shortcode [ai1ec view=”agenda” page_offset=-1] but it still show future events.

I cant use a link to offset=-1 because the title of the page will still show “Future Events”.

Is it possible do it using shortcode?

page_offset is not supported in shortcodes but it is a good idea to add it. I’ll add it to our list.

    cool. thanks!
one more thing, for future/upcoming events, the way events show right now in agenda view is alright, where the list is from the next event, followed by next event after next event ie: feb 13, feb 14, feb 15 and so on. but for the past events, the events should show from the most recent event, second recent event and so on.. ie: feb 12, feb 11, feb 10, and so on.

I wish I could show it like this. Is it possible? What do you think?

Why don’t you input it all in and we can discuss it over there – you can also track the progress there as well.
