[Resolved] [Plugin: All-in-One Event Calendar] Looking for Template Tag

  • My customer wants the event data displayed in a simple “date – title” manner in one place in the template. What I’d really like is a way to get an array or object of upcoming events and do what I want with them. Bonus points for being able to filter the query by category. I’m thinking of modifying the agenda widget template but that seems like a hacky way to go about it. I don’t see any other threads here about how to get a simple array of events. Any clues?

    Hi sparkweb,

    To query event categories, you could try something like:

    <?php
    $args = array(
    ‘post_type’ => ‘ai1ec_event’,
    ‘tax_query’ => array(
    ‘taxonomy’ => ‘events_categories’,
    ‘field’ => ‘slug’,
    ‘terms’ => ‘mycategory’,
    ),
    );
    query_posts( $args );
    ?>

    Thanks Richard.
