[Resolved] [Plugin: All-in-One Event Calendar] It's possible to change the Post Type Title?

  • Hi,
should be possible to change the custom post type name from “ai1ec_event” to something other like event’s category or, better, customized?
I know that naming best practice says to put a prefix before “event” to avoid conflicts but I believe that to give to webmaster possibility to choice a more user friendly (and readable too) string could be an option.
    TIA

  • That’s a good idea. It has been discussed before and we have decided to add such option on settings page or via some other way. It hasn’t been implemented yet and it is not planned for 1.7 or 1.8 – maybe for 1.9? or 2.0?

Or may be 3.0? 🙂 no problem, you can put when you want.
As for me, when I need a calendar, if it’s changed I use AiOEC, if not, use another one 🙂
    Thanks for assistance

I second this feature request, I’m setting up two community websites and I want the events urls to have simple path names like all other posts, something like http://www.mysite.com/event/title/date. A customizable default url would be ideal.
