    I just installed the plugin on another test site and imported that link and it worked. I’m guessing the theme my client is using is the culprit.. Sigh….

    webcal protocol is converted to html on the fly by the plugin – you shouldn’t worry about it.
    The reason why the feed didn’t import is likely to be the server.
    The server needs to allow the plugin to download the feed. The other reason couldn’t be that the feed is too large and your server run out of memory :/
    If you need more help with it, let me know.

    Thanks yani, I increased the memory by editing the wp-config.php file but that didn’t help.
    I submitted a ticket to Media temple to see if they can help.

    Christine, do you know how to use developer tools in chrome/safari or firebug in firefox? If so, can you have the network tab open after you add the feed and before clicking on the update button. Upon clicking on the update button, a new ajax request will be made. Does it return any data?

    HI Yani,

    I tried that and I got the following error message – JSON.parse: unexpected character

    Line 9

    This is line 9 :
    FB.provide('JSON',{stringify:function(a){if(window.Prototype&&Object.toJSON){return Object.toJSON(a);}else return JSON.stringify(a);},parse:function(a){return JSON.parse(a);},flatten:function(a){var b={};for(var c in a)if(a.hasOwnProperty(c)){var d=a[c];if(null===d||undefined===d){continue;}else if(typeof d=='string'){b[c]=d;}else b[c]=FB.JSON.stringify(d);}return b;}});

    Do you have some sort of a social plugin available? Anything related to FB etc?
    If so, try disabling it and try again?

    Bah.. that didn’t help. I also deactivate the random ad, the backup plugin, cache… No joy. 🙁
