Thanks, now I understand! The folder themes-ai1ec/vortexis under wp-content/ is created on the server but not locally… now just download it and edit css files!

CSS are all on one line. With http://www.cleancss.com you can separate the code on multiple lines.

We will ship a dev version of the css and js files. Sorry about the minification, you will be able to find the dev version of the files on help.then.ly
Next version of the plugin will have a new theme called delta that will be the same as vortex except that the styles will be well commented and easy to change.
If you are making a new theme, you should base your theme on gamma, which is a skeleton theme for theme development.
We are soon going to add our system for themes where theme authors can add their themes and users of ai1ec can use them on their blogs. I hope that will really benefit the community.
