Display only title and text on front page (3 posts)

I would like to display only the title and the text of the post on the front page of my site. How do I remove the other elements (date/time posted; archive for *; the "test" header at the top; and the rss feed link)?
    My website is http://www.thefreecollective.org
I essentially want both columns to look the same.

I've been able to remove everything but the bullet point in front of the post title, and the header above the title. Any ideas on how to remove these would be great. Thanks.

It is advisable to create child theme first. To remove date from your wordpress index page, you need to edit your Themes index.php file, search for the date function and delete it [Or comment this function]. You can follow the steps given at this link http://bornvirtual.com/wordpress/remove-date-from-wordpress-post/926/
