    Hi Detective,

at first... thx so far. It is getting better and better.

Registered users on my site have to enter city and country.
These two should be their first two interests.

Lets say the user's City is New York and Country the US.
Then all users should be able to click New York or US in the users.php and come to a group of all people with the interest New York or if they click US to the group with the interest US.

This function makes it easier to all the users to join and make the first steps.

    How can I realize that?
How can I have a link through city and country to these interests?

Currently it's not possible, as you have those fields (city and country) in other plugin.

I could do a query based on cimy user fields, but it's going to take me a few weeks as currently i'm working on another project :(

It IS possible to do that through a plugin, but it's not easy and needs a lot of knowledge about WP' filters and Aleph's hooks.

    ok. I understand.
    2nd option:
Perhaps it works the other way around.
Is it possible to make more than one "Interests" field with Cimy user extra fields?

Could that be easier and solve my problem?

    3rd option:
Is it possible to add interests to a user which is not me?
At the moment I can only do that at my own profile. If I go to a user's profile I cannot see the "Interest" line.

...and if the 3rd option is possible...
How can I add a link to the city which finds the "Interests" page
I could imagine sth. like this:
The search url just has to take automatically the city of the link city.
But I only need this function, if the 3rd option works.

Yes, but that has nothing to do with Aleph. It could be easier though ...

No, it's not possible, and i don't think it will be. Perhaps i'll add an option to remove interests from some user.

If the interest is defined in cimy user fields, you can't (for now). If it is defined using Aleph's Interests, then you can do it by going to url/searching/people/interests/frankfurt.

    thx for the answer.

then... how can I display all interests on one page as an overview for all the other people. Could also be a kind of tag cloud.
