• Hi all,

I am hoping that somebody can assist me with some plugin advice or just advice in general.

My employer has a business which is a Recruitment Agency and I was brought into the company to update its websites back in May last year.

Back then, I had some experience with WordPress but ‘truth be told’ I wasn’t all that experienced. With a bit more time I have improved somewhat.

My problem is… When I initially re-did the website I was looking for a plugin that would allow me to create searchable Job Listings and also allow candidates to upload their CV.

I ended up using a plugin called Job Manager, at the time this seamed like an ideal solution to what I was after.

My problem is that plugin is no longer being updated by its Author and I am getting increasingly worried about updating the plugin just in case anything breaks.

I was in the process of switching over to a new Plugin-in called WP Job Manager. Which ticks a lot of our requirements but not all of them. It has a Add-on which allows applicants to create Resume’s and for employers to browse them… but after speaking with the Author I learned that the applicants can’t use their uploaded Resumes to apply for jobs. The default ‘apply now’ button simply provides applicants with the email address for applicants to email across their Resumes in their normal email clients.

I think the lack of the ability to use their uploaded Resumes to apply for Jobs would be a frustration to applicants.

Would anybody know of any plugins that I’m unaware of that would allow me to create a front-end user area? And to create a resume form for applicant to fill in and employers to search them?

    Thanks in advance.
