• Awesome widget can’t live without.

However, it seems to be collapsing every widget boxes down to the heading and instant after you attempt to open them to place content.

It has happened on multiple blogs now, and this plugin’s removal seems to solve this problem.

So, rather than a given plugin to remain open, it collapses right back down within a few milliseconds after opening, so you cannot edit, add content to the widget.

This seems to never be a problem otherwise within WordPress itself as extensive searching has discovered.

The problem seems to be showing itself like there is a limitation to the number of widgets you can add to a sidebar area. Once a limit of like adding five textbox widgets occurs, then the ‘refuse to open’ state begins to occur on new widgets added and alternatively on pre-existing widgets too.

In both blogs, I’d say that there are some or most of the widgets being customized to appear on specific pages (dynamic).

    Thanks.

It sounds like there is a JavaScript conflict, possibly with another plugin or theme itself.

Do you see any JS errors? Google Chrome or Firefox with Firebug extension should display them if there are any. If so, post the errors here.

Have you tried troubleshooting the issue by disabling all of your existing plugins (except the ATW) and switching to the default theme (Twenty Ten/Eleven)? If not, try that.

If you can give me a temporary admin access to your WP site, I’ll be glad to take a quick look. I won’t do anything beside checking for JS errors, unless you give me OK to disable your plugins and theme. If you can do that, email me directly at max at phoenixhomes.com
